This morning I inspected the enormous fake spider web we erected for Halloween that spans the front door to the far edge of the porch. Over the course of the night it succeeded in trapping several flies, a few moths, and a beetle. I asked my wife if we were going to wrap it up and save it for next year but she said no, it has dead bugs in it. I said oh right, those dead bugs kind of ruin the effect of it being a spider web, dont they? She did not answer or even seem to appreciate my sarcasm. Clearly it was a very good web.
