This morning, I visited an Anglican church for the first time in Canada to worship. It was short but its an occasion that will live with me for the rest of my life. I was the only person of my ethnic background in an all white congregation but for one Asian. And you know what? I felt so comfortable and at home! Amazing? Yes, it was truly amazing! God is an AWESOME God! The church? St Helens Anglican at 1234 Prestone Dr, Orleans, Ontario. At the conclusion of the service, I met with the priest and received a most remarkable welcome from him and others. He was very excited to hear that I was from Guyana and talked about the twinning of Georgetown and Ottawa cities some years ago. It really was a most memorable moment in my long and determined journey to a better life!
