This morning I want to show you all exactly how Im related to the people of Leonville and Prairie Laurent. Besides showing you how Im kin through other lineages besides through the Donato connection. Im going to use cousin Hailey Fuselier. I have attached Haileys pedigree in the first picture. Haileys great great grandmother is Clothilde Gallot prounounced Clotile. She was married to William Auzenne. Here is the marriage entry of William and Clothilde, OZENNE, William m. 10 Aug. 1885 Clotilde CALLO Married in Ville Platte. (Opel. Ct. Hse.: Mar. #13658)OZENNE, William (Alexandre & Suzanne BULLARD) m. 10 Aug. 1885 Clotilde GALLOT (Julien & Armantine BEUVIN) (VP Ch.: v. 2, p. 518) As yall see Clothildes father was listed as Julien Gallot but her sisters death certificate (2nd picture) listed her father as being a Rideau but why? Ill explain, whoever signed as the informant for Augustines death certificate obviously knew that her father was somehow tied to the Rideaus. The death certificate of Augustine Gallot proves that our Cousin Rodney Sam Fuselier theory that Julien Rideau [Gallot] son of Josephine Pi Pi Rideau was definitely a Gallot. The heirs of Julien used both Rideau and Gallot in their names and the only tie of the Gallot and Rideau is that from the union of Julien Gallot and Josephine Pipi Rideau. Julien Gallot was a Free man of color in the area of Plaisance who had ties with the family who owned Julien Rideau Gallots mother Josephine Pipi Rideau. This could very much mean that he was indeed the father of Pipis son. Now what is Julien Gallots connection to me? Julien Gallot, grandfather of Haileys great great grandmother is the half-brother of my 4th great grandmother Helene Tom, free woman of color. Julien Gallot and my ancestor Helene were siblings to the mother. The last picture is a family pedigree of my maternal lineages and as you see my 5th grandmother Marguerite Joubert is Haileys 5th grandmother as well. Im not done. Haileys 6th great grandmother Magdeleine Pipi Rideau is the brother of my 5th great grandfather Louis Balthazar Rideau. This means that Im pretty much related to Hailey through each branch of her family except the Fuselier side and Im pretty sure If I continue to dig I would find a distant link.
