This morning, I was awaken with the glaring reality that God does hear and answer our prayers. This birthday marks a significant amount of years of life since the day I was born 2lbs in a small hospital on the small island in Nantucket, Massachusetts. My parents were told that I would not live. They heard the doctor, but they went in prayer and heard The Lords voice say that I would live and not die... All my life I heard the story of my birth and how a catholic priest gave me last rights and yet my mother and father would say that every time they visited me, expecting to not see evidence of life, they would look in the incubator and my legs and arms would be moving like I was fighting to live. I am grateful for parents that knew the power of prayer and a faith in God that can move mountains. May The Lord strengthen someones faith today through the testimony of my life and more importantly, the relentless and ruthless faith that my mother and father had in The Lord!!! Happy and blessed birthday to anyone who is having a birthday on today!! Thank you to my husband for planning a loving and wonderful birthday!
