This morning, I was cyclist #733 to pass by the counter on the Fremont Bridge. During the summer, by the time I rode by, that number would easily be more than double that. Ive discovered that on the highest setting, my fancy new bike light will last for 1.5 hours on a single charge. So, if I want to stop for errands on the way home, I should use a different setting or itll go dark before I finish my trip. Also, this clothing combination seems to be working for the moment: cycling jersey, arm warmers, jacket, tights, wool knee high socks and cycling knickers. Ill add rain pants and booties when it gets wet out, and possibly some actual long underwear when it gets colder.
