This morning I watched Spartacus (w/Kirk Douglas), it happened to be on the retro...flix... channel, something like that. I have probably seen it close to 20x but not in the last 10 years, at least. When I was younger I thought it was awesome, despite the cheesiness. I only TODAY realized it was directed by Stanley Kubrick. I was like, oh no way. It was funny because I used to write Dungeons & Dragons-style fiction as a kid, and I suddenly realized where I got a lot of ideas from. While I was watching, even though I was alone (except for the dog & cats) I made a whole bunch of MST3K-type comments & kept cracking myself up. Which is kind of like having a conversation with yourself & then answering back & arguing with yourself. I probably need to get out more. :v
