This morning I went to the bottom of the ocean to honour the joy and memory of my beautiful friend AnnaMaria, laying fresh white flowers, Burning Man trinkets, and photographs - guided by a sea turtle. I was wondering where to lay the bouquet when I saw my friend Happy Feet, our resident one-armed sea turtle. He said, Hey, follow me! and slowly led me to a lovely bit of coral to make a memorial and say a prayer for our girl. I wanted to capture the peace, tranquility and grace under the sea. Spending time down there has been highly meditative for me during my time here in the Maldives, so I figured it was the perfect place to make this tiny sanctuary for AnnaMaria. RIP xx
