This morning I woke early to have breakfast at DQ. I thought I would see Dad there but I may have just missed him. The frost nipped everything at daybreak but things will come back as they can. I was stacking firewood to cut as some is still too green for now. I get in better shape swinging that double ax and that 8 pound sledge hammer. I have learned to use an iron wedge to split logs like people once did. I cant feel too mad about anything after cutting a bit of wood.
