This morning I woke up to two death announcements of two ladies Ive known my entire life.... Actually both were my mothers and my aunts friends... It is sad to think that these hard working women whom I respected and admired, who grew up alongside my mom has made their transition from here... Mrs. Pris was one of moms dearest friends, they taught red cross together at the schools and outside of that, Mrs Pris was no stranger at our family parties, especially during the years of my older sisters graduation... Mrs. Martha Waight, was my aunts neighbor, and a great neighbor at that.. The last sighting I had of her was on a video that was made at my aunts 80th birthday party, where they were all dancing and having a great time... My heart is heavy but in a time like this, I prefer to take inventory of my own life and appreciate the time with my mom... I know that both these ladies will be missed immensely in our community, but I pray that this will be a wake up call to others to appreciate their mothers... After all, our mothers in our community are some of the strongest, most hard working women to grace this world... may their souls rest in peace and rise in glory...
