This morning National Public Radio had a nice story on Morning Edition about how libraries help get your child ready for school as well as gives your child the best chance for being successful in life. They talk about the importance of sharing talk, sing, read, write, and play activities with your child and how libraries promote those activities though programs, learning activities, and books.
