This morning Shandon Boy tells me (in his long, winded, story toned voice that only kids can do), today I am not a firefighter or police officer... or a tractor operator... or a coast guard guy... today Im just an ordinary boy who listens to his mom. Heehee... Ordinary?! Hes four. He is my best teacher. He has reminded me that no one is just ordinary. Each of my kids (students) has taught me something new in my life. Im a better person as I recognize and appreciate them all for their differences. Sometimes I am just in awe... Anyway, just my thought for the evening as I reflect on the day.
