This morning, The Man - aka Jim Kinghorn - tells me I need to have my left back tire looked at because it is really low. I drive from Mount Angel to the Silverton Les Schwab where I am promptly greeted by an attendant who takes my car, removes tire, removes two nails from tire and returns the car. When I ask how much I owe, he tells me Just think of us next time you need tires. Thank you to The Man for noticing the tire - I probably would have never noticed and kept driving until it was a flat - and for Silvertons Les Schwab for its excellent customer service. This is just one of the many examples of how people in our community look out for and support one another every day. Let us know your story on a good deed done.
