This morning, in the House Committee on Natural Resources, I made the motion to authorize our Committee Chairman to issue subpoenas to the Obama Administration. The Administration has failed to fully cooperate with Committee investigations. Requests for information have gone unanswered or been delayed for months, documents are being withheld in their entirety or heavily redacted, and the Administration has refused to make witnesses available for questioning. My motion passed on a 26-14 vote. Transparency is critical and it is time for our Committee to hold the Obama Administration accountable.
