This morning message was in the book of Daniel chapter 5. the folly and death of Balshazzar the king. The death of Belshazzar marks the second phase of Gods calendar in the judgment of the Gentile nation in the last days. As for Israel, they are still in captivity in Babylon. But, the glory had departed somewhat...and the party was over for Belshazzar. Next week, we will explore the practical side of the death of Belshazzar and we will look at the book of Samuel to look at the significance of Ichabod....and how to avoid Gods judgement on the nations and ultimately in our lives.
