This morning, my grandfather Clarence Knapik passed away around - TopicsExpress

This morning, my grandfather Clarence Knapik passed away around 0500 EST. Just over 90 years of age, he was a great man who loved his family and friends and has gone into the great beyond. Someone who in their late teens/early twenties saw evil and so many atrocities at an early age in World War II (12th Armored Division, 17th Infantry Battalion), moreso than most people at that age. Had five sons who have all survived him, but he is with his wife Catherine today after over ten years of not being with her, not to mention his army buddies, friends, family that he is with today. The worst part? I wasnt there to say goodbye to him. I at least talked to him on the phone for a few minutes late last week when he was in the hospital. He will be missed dearly & at least Ramona got to see him a couple of times before he went. God bless you grandpa! We love you!
