This morning my son and I finished watching Transcendence, the Internet saga with Johnny Depp. What dawned on me, reflecting on the movie is that a) there is only purpose and the road leading to it, as we are only able to perceive all that is within the scope of a limited space-time continuum. And b) we (humans) place values such as good and bad on both purpose and the road. What is next is us starting to fight (or at least feeling uncomfortable with) those who do not share our values. Behold: the reason for all conflict in this world. Thanks, Johnny!
