This morning on radio (Mix Fm94.5), there was this discussion on, WOULD YOU ADOPT CHILDREN...? It was a very good subject to be discussed on air and many callers gave their opinion.... But what touched me the most is a caller, who is an adopted child..... He mentioned about how much his foster parents changed his life and he really feels loved... Therefore, in return, he fostered his adopted parents until the day they died.... Something which even some of us failed to do for our biological parents.... So, in my opinion.... YES.... YES.... I agree on adopting children.... There are so many children out there who wants to be loved... Need care... Need fostering... Need to have a sense of belonging.... Need to be wanted.... Why do we neglect these children...?? And to be honest, I have seen adopted children being more appreciative towards their foster families.... I can hardly see spoilt adopted children.... They became so appreciative, that they go miles to make their foster parents happy.... However, there was a caller who was SO AGAINST adopting children, saying that it is too risky..... What if the child is wrong in every way.... Could be retarded mentally... Could be coming from the wrong blood and take up the character of their real mother or father.... I WAS LIKE STUPID YOU....!!! What guarantee that you have that your own child wont be risky...?? How many spoilt children out there and they are NOT adopted.... Most of my friends who have syndrome children, retarded case, difficult kids, special needs, are their OWN children.... So, will you admit your DNA is bad...?? To conclude my case: To raise your own children is RESPONSIBILITIES.... But to raise children who are not your own is SEDEKAH (Charity).... Therefore.... Normal people make babies.... NOBLE PEOPLE ADOPT CHILDREN.........
