This morning six years ago heaven decided it needed my Daddy more, he was an angel to many here on earth and I know he is fulfilling that role in heaven as well. He was the strongest man I knew. He battled cancer for 16 months and I never once heard him complain, never once heard him ask why. He was and will always be my hero. He taught me a lot in the 27 years I got to have him here with me. Of course my heart breaks a little more at times and I so wish he was here with his family, but I know that cool September morning god called him home it was a glorious one. No more pain, no more cancer. He was able to see his Mama which he put on a pedestal and finally able to meet his father who passed when he was only a couple of months old, he was able to reunite with his brother and many other family members and friends that passed before him. Thats what brings me comfort. I will go to his headstone and put fall flowers on it, his favorite time of year. I will cry and I will laugh remembering all the good times we shared. And I will go on, another day without him here. Your doll baby loves you the best Daddy!!!! I will forever be grateful I had the honor of calling you my Daddy. Rest in Peace.
