This morning was kind of rough for me, but after receiving a text and a phone call from two women, helped put things in perspective for me. To be told how much they appreciate the role Ive played in their lives as well as their child/grandchildren, brought me to tears. For those that dont know, I have four beautiful children. One biological and three adopted children whom I love as if I birthed them myself. God blessed my husband and I in a manner HE saw fit. FB friends, PLEASE know this about me..... ANYTHING I do is NOT done for show or for someone to pat me on the back. EVERYTHING I DO IS TO GLORIFY GOD!!!! I know that my reward, MY CROWN will come ONLY from God Himself. Man will never be able to REPAY ME in a way that God will....and again, my work is not done to receive glory or a SHOUT OUT from MAN!!!!!! I have a heart pure as Gold... A heart of giving and helping others, ESPECIALLY when I see theres a need. So to those that might be taking my kindness as a sign of weakness or you getting over, remember YOU WILL HAVE TO ANSWER TO GOD.... but, Im not worried about that. Said all that to say this. For someone to take out the time to thank me in the manner they did this morning is the BEST GIFT EVER!!!! It just lets me know that my work is not done in vain. It motivates me to continue to let the Lord use me for HIS GLORY. Wow, this really lifted my spirits today. Thanks ladies.... you know who you are!!!
