This morning we are waking up to a nurses strike in our province...it saddens me to think it had to come to this in order for the nurses to listened to.There is a major breakdown in our governing system...our elected officals are truely pieces of work, they cry vote for me and you will get change...we need change. The provincal leaders,down to our counselors and mayors dont seem to have any real power to do anything when it comes to change,it does seem that they do all have an agenda,but it isnt to benefit us. Honestly i dont give a rats behind if the budget is balanced or not,we pay a heapload of taxes, we pay tax on tax, we just received a tax bil for a ditch...(dont even get me started on that one!).the roads are a mess,the bridges in the province are falling apart, tourism is falling apart( just try to find a tourist bureau you can park at with a camper) fuel prices are through the roof,where does it end? Do our local elected officals have any real power?i honestly doubt it they are puppets,i am not sure who controls them or directs or what ever the term to use in the decision making process but they are all the same.just my 2 cents for the day.
