This morning when I got off work I had a text message from my mom. She told me to come home and to reschedule my appt. I instantly had a feeling something terrible had happened to my dad. I went to the gas station before heading home. I heard the news my dad had been shot. At this point we didnt know the extent of his injuries, just that he was alive. Shortly after arriving at my moms we got a call informing us that it was a gun shot wound to his left arm. I know God was watching over my dad last night. This terrible incident could have been fatal. Im very thankful he is ok. It was his left fore arm, unfortunately he is left handed. He is out of surgery and doing ok. It will be a long road to recovery for his arm but as long as he follows the doctors orders (sometimes this is hard for him) he should have full use of his arm (: I never imagined going through something like this. Cherish those you love. Seek quality time to make memories. Family is family. Love them. Thank you to everyone who constantly has my family in their prayers, I know God was walking with my dad last night. I love you Dad. Thank you mom for driving us to Clarkston to see him. Even tho you worked all night.
