This morning when I went outside to smoke my butt bucket was gone and there was a pile of butts in its place. My first thought was that the wind took it away so I looked around my complex. But most of the butts were conglomerated so then I thought that someone stole it. Maybe like someone was wasted and needed to throw up somewhere. So I get the brush and dustpan from next to the litter box and started to scoop up butts. When I got to the bottom I found the bottom of the bucket. Also, in trying to scoop I realized that the circle of ashes around the bottom were rock solid. I must have accidentally set the bucket on fire during one of my middle-of-the-night smokes. Im so lucky I didnt burn down my building, especially since my smoke alarm was out of battery. Tonight I got myself a metal bucket and a new battery for my smoke alarm.
