This mornings Update... The Infectious Disease team and a Team of doctors all came by this morning and said that the blood culture that was drawn on her in the ER on Saturday afternoon did grow staph. However, it took 30 hours for the staph to show, so they think it maybe contaminated and are redoing the test. (results to come tomorrow) The viral tests have not come back as of yet. Her fever only went up one time last night. Her blood pressure was a little low this morning, but soon came back to normal. Her cough is still there, still not as violent but no better from yesterday. The rash is still continuing to get worse and a more consistent spread to the extremities. All in all, they are still saying that it is Toxic Shock due to some kind of infection (staph or not) that is causing her body to fight it by releasing this certain type of toxin that is causing the low blood pressure, high heart rate, high fever, and sunburn type rash of her body. And will know more about lungs after the respiratory viral results come back. Prayer is working!!! The Lord is showing up and showing out!!! I hate to see her in this shape being this sick, but I love to see the Lord working in her life and using her for His Glory!!! Thanks for all of the text, calls, visits, and comments!
