This must be rant week for me, or Im just teed off. Myas only source of substance is/was formula through her feeding tube. The formula is expensive, about $600/month. Now remember this is what is (or will when she can tolerate the feedings again) keeping her alive. In the infinite wisdom of our government, the State of Florida passed a law that defines in which cases insurance will cover the cost (leg.state.fl.us/statutes/index.cfm?App_mode=Display_Statute&Search_String=&URL=0600-0699/0627/Sections/0627.42395.html). Actually, it is probably the lobbyists that influenced this statute but its the politicians that let themselves be bought. In Myas case, it is outside the statute. So now I get to appeal the appeal and then I guess call my representative for the State. Unbelievable. It just doesnt end.
