This my dear friends is why we will have Erdoğan as President for the next 14 years. Its not because his political philosophy matches that of the majority of the Turkish population. Rather its the total absence of an effective and forward thinking opposition. Finally we have a Deputy prepared to stand up and tell it how it is. Bravo I say to Emine Ülker Tarhan. Likely she will be denounced by the Turkish media and by most of her ex-colleagues in the CHP but the truth is she is right and until the opposition to the AK Party in Turkey finds a voice and much more importantly a forward thinking approach to modern Turkey the status quo will prevail and the Erdoğan dynasty will prevail.
