This new ruling about the pit stops is going to cost the true privateer far too much money to make it viable to compete in the future . We as riders have had over the past years had to cover the cost of the course licence and all its additional costs and now we have to cover the cost of all this equipment . We are paying £333.00 per race (or nothing for the Classic TT ) Where is this money being used ? Why cant the safety gear be issued to us by the Club ? Overalls we can all sort out ourselves but the rest in my opinion should be supplied to us as part of our entry fee . The Manx Club would get a supplier to give them all the safety gear required if their company name was displayed around the circuit etc . Just my opinion on this ! I want to race at the Manx so will have to buy the gear but it doesnt feel right to me .
