This note is a Philippine Guerrilla Currency One Peso Emergency Circulating Note of 1941. It is CEB-105 as listed in Neil Schafers classic Philippine Emergency and Guerrilla Currency of World War II. Many of these One Peso notes were printed but a much lesser number were used in a couple of other Provinces of the Philippines. This is one that was used in Merida which is a local municipality in Leyte Province and it is counter stamped on the reverse . These notes are seldom found in a condition of much better than well-used.
