It is a fully chromatic, 2 octave range [centered on middle c] Hammered Dulcimer whose string-band orientation is vertical to the player, not the traditional horizontal one. This allows anyone familiar with a piano keyboard to play this instrument, making it a Hammered Dulcimer that is not as intimidating and with a far kinder learning curve. ;-)
