This old Bianchi was my dads when I was 8. He sold it and bought it back years later without realizing it was the same bike. My sister rode it around Boone during college, and Ive had it for about 8 years now. Its been my mountain bike, my road bike, my commuter, my touring bike, and my cyclocross race bike. I removed some cable stops, added some new ones, and gave it a front derailleur braze-on with the help of the illustrious Jim Sanders. Now its gotten some new (pre-owned) parts, and a fresh creamsicle makeover from Matt at Powder Coat of Gainesville. Im gonna take it to Asheville tonight and see if Gaby and I can find some snowy gravel roads to shred with Julie McAleer and Matthew Daniel. Feeling sentimental and thankful.
