This old grand railroad hotel is where we will spend a special day and spread out my parents ashes on the tracks. Will be nice to watch the wind from passing trains carry them off both east and west across this nation. My mother when young had lived by the railroad tracks in Clarksburg , W.Va. She would wave at the young men leaving town going off to fight in WWII. My father was one of these young men and would meet the young girl by the tracks years later and fall in love. They would be married in 1956 . The last time I saw my father I told him I was moving to AZ and he told me how he loved the old hotel near Flagstaff and the large mountain. In this video you will see this hotel would be the one he was talking about as each troop train would stop so the men could get a meal. I can not think of a better place to do this for them as well as my Uncle Matt.
