This ones for all the Mack fans (myself included)…found out about this rig through a member of my former engine company who passes it on his way to work…FDNY serial# MP8605 is a 1986 Mack CF that served as Engine 301 in the Hollis neighborhood in the NYC borough of Queens. Rig ended up in Arizona and was picked up by a member of the Bohemia (Long Island, NY) FD who plans to restore it. It was heavily damaged during both Hurricane Irene & Sandy, it is shown here outside a local truck repair/fabrication shop awaiting the installation of a starter. Thanks are extended to brother FF Eddie Masiello for the heads-up on this rig as well as father & son FFs Mickey & John of Now Distributing Corp. for their hospitality in providing info on this unyque rig. :) :) :) Note: The rig is NOT for sale…repair shop has already had 3 offers on it & its not even their rig!! ;) :)
