This ones for those who like to persume the monkey god theory ! furthering my seeds, and retort, well not retort but encouraging good advice, for carney and crew, c ing me research keeps getting nicked ! the key to uks recovery in my mind are the following reccomendations, the emphasis is on regional and subregional, now when one says infrastructure, i think that the traditional understanding of this borders in the realms of planes , trains and automobiles ? this should be tangible in quantification, but the answer for me lies in london playing an active part in bringing the regions up to standard, that london needs to provide core energy and support to regional initiatives, it has to play a greater role in joining regions, Again the peel holdings , liverpool - manchester link, is an awesome move, and when it really kicks in will start to make a national difference ! now how can this be further supported, i would push to bradford and leeds, The essence of this thought trail is to push the CROSS PENNINE LINKS, i think that the keighley route bradford and back through east lancs to manchester is a key route and needs enhancing, how can this be done, EAST LANCASHIRE, what, yep, one cog, again manchester is better geared, but needs improvement, to create greater linkage, will start from where i know best and have had a beady look techno graphically at least,or bricks and mortar, experience and discovery, beaten path, so the buzz words for regional procrastanators, engineers and designers is clusterification, again goes into regional and local structuralism, for me the biggest way for this to happen is to take a close link at lincoln university, and siemens, the partnership approach of the two, can east lancashire initiate a manufacturer/ corpie like siemens, can a university organisation be enhanced enough to provide technical level skills in eg new green tech, engineering and related industries, so for this to happen , i think that burnley, blackburn and hyndburn need to work together to develop a university along lincolns lines in blackurn, BAE could come in here ? i will explain, again can burnley and blackburn support a greater growth in huncoat , altham, hapton ,industrial estate, now if this could be done, this needs support from lon don, ? your going to see a real turn in the fortunes of this region, i think that again off grid independence , yet co hesive in green enrgy is the way forward and something the north can make better usage of, in terms of bringing more SME operators accessing export markets, what the UKTDI have now initiated, eventually, is only the beggining of rolling the snowball, and it needs to carry on in the same vain , but not only this ,actually to localise its operations through local council links and in identifying bussinesses who could benefit from this. This is where the finance industry should be incentivising interaction for bussinesses to take off, this is the next level, but the foundations have to be more broadbased, again seed funding comes into mind and how sassy are markets in spotting growth generators, so how do you improve in a pragmatical sense, its about linkage, i will use the example of two financial institutions and there different approaches to local bussiness, barclays verses natwest, natwest for me was not as helpful and was better at raising hurdles instead of smoothening the path to access, the barclays bussiness manager and their programme of supporting local businesses to grow at especially grass roots levels, new starters and their recognition of greater support in the short term for the bussiness to survive to flourish, this i think is the key. it would be interesting to get a hard cross comparison from big data, but thats where my instinct leeds me, some perhaps common knowledge, but going full circle and closing the loop on local and municipal development for bussinesses uktdi needs to place greater interaction, that it needs to form a team which is specifically geared to focusing on this, this would get british bussinesses moving, i feel that towns like blackburn, burnley and hyndburn need to place greater emphasis on marketing, then this would have a benefitial impact on market access and growth. go eagle on it, either further canal expansion or motorway expansion ? leeds to manchester is closer than leeds to hull ? so manchester docks is going to grow, i personally think that the single greatest link that will improve the uk economy is the cross pennine link, the roses theme again, now i will walk you through this one , some of it is a historical perspective, the reasoning behind such initiatives, some building on those earlier layers, and also improving on what came before, and also opening opportunities to get to hard to reach zones, so again the need to further develop the north of england, i will go through this on a regional basis, i have done this separately before, but will try and collate the separate regions and point the way in which i think things should be moving, i do not believe in being irrefutable and am plural in my thought processes, My thoughts are in terms of pushing the bar higher are specifically designed so that britain can hit 6 -10 % gdp growth, eventually within five years, again pie in the sky stuff ?
