This page has done lots of research on exposing the christian history revisionism effort to demonize Atheists. Wikipedia, politicians, church leaders, hundreds of websites and hundreds of books by christian authors/publishers, label almost every bad person in history as an Atheist. We have debunked these lies about the top 10 deadliest dictators. Christians have successfully been able to change the facts of recent history. There are many loose criteria that christians use to label a person an Atheist. Here is a short list of all it takes: a dictator, a Communist, a Marxist, Socialist, lack of religion, any negative comment about the church, christians, or religion, church destruction, religious persecution, resistance against church leaders or theocracy dictatorships, any authors book claim that a person is an Atheist, etc. None of those things have anything to do with Atheism. None of those things make a person an Atheist; but history has been rewritten. I have noticed that Nicolae Ceausescu is labeled an Atheist. Many anti-Atheist pages brag and boast about this. After some research, I cannot find evidence of his theism or Atheism. As usual, there are many claims but no evidence. What I did find is that his mother, Alexandrina, was very religious. Details seem to be unavailable. Almost no information is available on his father, Andruță Ceaușescu. Romania is a deeply christian (81% with only .02% Atheist) country. It would be difficult to avoid a christian upbringing and miss-education. Ceaușescu formed personal working relationships with the leaders of all religious bodies in Romania after coming to power. Also, after his parents died, Nicolae had an entire church built in their honor. Maybe readers can help out or another admin.
