This page is to raise awareness for breast cancer. As most people know I was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 25 which completely changed my life and others around me. My lump was only just over a cm big but was growing rapidly as it was stage 4. Luckily I knew that it didnt feel right and went to my GP for a referral. I was diagnosed early enough for the cancer not to have spread to any other organs. After 5 operations, 6 months of chemotherapy, a year of herceptin and a lot of support from family and friends, I could finally stick two fingers up to the horrible disease that affects so many people. This is my 4th year of being cancer free and Id like to spread a little love and help make other people aware that this disease can affect anyone, any age and any gender! Yeah that includes you guys 2! I will be trying to compete in various runs throughout the year (Nhs permitting), to raise awareness for breast cancer. Im not asking for your money, just your support. If you see me running out and about or updates on here, just take 2 minutes to coppafeel of your boobs, or even better get your fella to do it! Thats all it took for me to find my lump and Im still in this crazy world, enjoying life. Next year, 2015, marks my big date, my 5 year anniversary. Im aiming to compete in a marathon and put my fitness to the test. Hopefully with my old man and brother ( if they are up for the challenge!!!). So please get feeling your boobs!
