This past week 5 of the 6 in my family participated in our churchs reenactment of the Pioneer Trek across the plaines. Over 2.5 days we dressed as pioneers and pushed handcarts up and down the mountain trails in the Santa Cruz mountains (Little Basin area). We had difficult times, learned about some of the struggles the pioneers went through 150 years ago. Jodi Hanson Chatham and I were a Ma and Pa for 8 youth (not our own children). All the 100 youth were separated into 14 different Families and 5 different Companies that all traveled together and helped each other. It was a great experience. I made a video from the perspective of myself and my family as we traveled the 2.5 days. Enjoy!
