This past weekend was a first for me. Over the course my SCA career, I have been involved in many aspects of running events, but this years Simple Day was my first time as an autocrat. There were rocky patches, minor delays & setbacks, but nothing that couldnt be resolved. This entire weekend would not have been possible without my staff and my Barony filling in the pieces of the framework and lending aid wherever necessary. Without them, Simple Day would have been contrary to its name in quite the literal sense. Thank you all! I would also like to give specific thanks to my deputy Rois (Suzann), who filled in while I was commanding as XO on the rapier field, and making a lot this process go smoothly. You were magnificant! And finally, thank you to all who attended. Sternfeld enjoys hosting the Kingdom each year at our Simple Day in the Country, and we hope that all who came out enjoyed it as much as we did!
