This photograph was taken for English Heritage and is off an abandoned part of a Silversmiths in Birmingham called J W Evans. At one time over thirty people were employed but the owner remained by 2009 and with the decline in staff so various parts of the buildings, which were a set of three classic terraced houses, were left to rot. What caught my eye were the two coats and the photographs of the dogs on the wall but the image is made to look like a painting by the bird droppings which cover the walls and floor. lightandcomposition/photo-of-the-day-april-04-two-coats-by-barry-cawston/
