This photograph was taken on the last day of the first Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta in Putrajaya, Malaysias new administrative capital last year. On that day the weather seemed to be very bright and clear which resulted in the flattering and warm lighting in the late evening. Since I went there early I had the opportunity to choose the right location and plan my shots in advance. I positioned myself to capture the hot air balloons flying over the man-made Putrajaya Lake with the Putra Mosque and the Putra Perdana buildings at the background which are the two prominent landmarks of Putrajaya.
