There are points from North Africa that are called neolithic points that look like that. There are points in the South Eastern US called Guilford points that are shaped like that. Brenna described Ovoid points found in the tri-staes are in the North Eastern US. Then there is the Abasolo from the South Western US. I guess maybe it would be quicker if you would just input some facts along with your questions.. Some other names for these. Willow Leaf, Tear drop, Ovoid Biface. One of the biggest problems in typology today is Archaeologists usually were isolated from each other during dig season. If they made a new discovery and named it in the area they were at then that name stuck even if it were the same type found 400 miles away by a colleague. They usually did not compare notes with one another until dig season was over and they could get information from others.
