This piece was done over a year ago I actually incorporated a little bit of sound design without the use of synths. The only synths that I used were for the percussion track. The sound effects used were: -Natural rain and thunder that I recorded using the mic from my digital camera; this was to make the backdrop that sets the tone of the piece. -Two unsharpened swords that I have that made the "clinging" sound (cheap stainless steel katana and wakizashi)I just clashed them together and did some editing to the sound. -The swinging effects (whooshng) sounds) was a vocal effect that was done by me. -The movement of "two ninja" that you hear in the grass was a recording of me doing zenpo kaiten (forward roll) at a park. This "ninja fighting" concept came from an idea I had after listening to a video game soundtrack from Tenchu Stealth Assassins, which was from the album called "Rittai Ninja Katsugeki Tenchu" by Asakura Noriyuki. -The two shakuhachi that I used were the 1.8 Earth Model Shakuhachi and the 2.4 Jinashi shakuhachi. Both were crafted by Perry Yung. The program that I used at the time was Magix Music Maker 17.
