This poor old guy, Elmer, is on his way to one of our hospice/permanent foster homes from his stray hold at the shelter. He was found by a good Samaritan who took him in, but couldnt care for him. We cant legally take in strays so he had to wait a few days. He has already been to the vet and had a medicated bath. He has testicular cancer, horribly infected skin, dry eyes, and several other issues - and he thanked us for helping with tail wags and kisses, despite his pain. We hope to have updates in the coming months of him on the road to recovery! Thanks to Sean who found him, the rescue who asked for our help, the shelter who cared for him, Samantha who transported, our great vets, groomer, and foster parents! It takes a lot of us to save a dog : )
