This post from a friend of mine who is middle aged, white and very christian and is expressing how proud she is of her young sons at Sunday School, but I think she just invalidated gangsta rap as a genre with her Ice Cube quote at the end. HUGE victory today for Drew! He went to a brand new Sunday school in an unfamiliar church, not knowing anyone, and did a great job in class!! When we picked him up, the teacher said, there is just one problem with your son. Hes too smart. He answered all the questions, and did not want to let the other kids answer, but when we asked him to give the other kids a chance, he finally conceded. Drew also apparently had an issue with the techno music they played in class. He said there was no place for techno in church. And bonus, Sean made a new friend in his class today! SO thankful for all the teachers and staff at church today! Like the great Ice Cube says, Today was a Good Day!
