How much do you need to live a life in Singapore for Filipinoes, but not applicable to all; Accommodation: If HDB, $350/month 3-4pax in a room bed sharing. Wanna live a comfortable life? $700/month Transportation: Forget about taking a cab. By bus, will cost you $4/day or $120/month. Food: Breakfast: $3/day Lunch: $5/day Dinner: $5/day If the budget is tight, just skip breakfast $13/day or $390/month. Toiletries: $50/month Savings in the Philippines, for you & family & Accounts Payables: $600 / month At least, you need $1,510/month to survive. Please do take note that it is SURVIVING and not living! Thats Php53,000! If youre thinking of a night even for at least once a month then it will cost you an addititional $60/month. If you want to reward yourself and buy new clothes in a month, add in $40/month to your budget. If you want to try a good meal in a restaurant, then spend additional $100/month ($20/day) to your budget. Earning $1,710 is enough for you, just remain to be single. More or less Php 60,000. If you choose to have privacy on your own, make sure you have at least $2,060/month.
