This post is a general post and does not pertain to my life in particular but it relates to something that is weighing heavily on my heart tonight: "Reckless words pierce like a sword, but the tongue of the wise brings healing" (Proverbs 12:18) Why is it that so often, those who claim to love us the most can be so cruel, calloused and reckless with the words that they choose to express themselves? Out of all of the words that we are given through the English language, we often pick the ones that are the most impossible to ever take back. Anyone out there who is struggling with feelings that may in themselves hurt another, please, choose your words wisely and kindly...choose them with love and respect and kindness and know that whatever you put out is there forever and has the power to do serious damage to someone that you claim to love. This being said, I am praying for healing for someone that is very close to me tonight. I pray that through your strength and your faith, you may find peace and learn to trust in your heart because it is a wonderful, good, kind heart and it deserves to be held and treasured and cared for. I pray that these words are of at least the smallest comfort tonight dear friend. I love you.
