This post is about and for my ex. We broke up last February after a happy one year and six months and nine day-long relationship. We were the first for each other. No we didnt break up because we had a fight or what. We broke up because she had to work overseas for three years. Some of you who are reading this may probably judge in their comments that Im dumb for not pursuing an LDR. Well I cant stop you from doing that. But I felt that I cant be a burden in her mind while shes there. Ill love her always, but I cant be selfish with her. She still needs to pursue what she wants freely. An LDR would be ideal, but does it always end happily? Most LDRs dont. Im sure a lot would agree with me. I never believed in it. Optimism is very different from whats real. Anyway, Id like to end this entry with a message to my ex. I already wrote it on my journal, hoping itd get published one day. I wrote down that message just in case anything happens in the near future. Here it goes; I couldnt be selfish with you. You had dreams, but sometimes we have to sacrifice what we love and value the most for our dreams. What I lobed about you the most is that you loved me for who I am, never asking anything from me nor asking me to change, even if I wasnt the nicest guy around. You are by far one of the greatest things that happened to me in this stage of my life, and perhaps of young 19 years of living. The fact that I get to live and die knowing that I was loved, not just by anyone, but by you? Rhea? Now thats the epitome of being loved. Its never gonna be better than this. I peaked.
