This post is in response to an argument that occurred yesterday due to one of my posts about bear hunting. The best way I can explain it is like this... Sitting in a treestand waiting for something to come by is called waiting and shooting. I enjoy this and do it many times throughout the year. Walking your ass off up steep ass mountians looking for your animal is called hunting. For example, if you go on a Easter Egg Hunt, You dont just sit there and wait for it to come by you, you go look for it. Bear hunting with dogs hands down is the hardest type of hunting there is out there, I felt like I was going to die yesterday. Both types of pursuing game are fun and fair chase so just do what you like to do or be like me and do both. And to all the bear hunters who have been nice enough to let me go with you after the hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars you have put into your dogs, thanks. I have enjoyed each and every hunt.
