This post-trip jet lag is the oddest ever. Friday-Saturday wee hours, I was aware of checking the time about every twenty minutes and trying to relax by counting to fives -- breathe in for five, hold for five, breathe out for five, hold for five...the night before, I had slept from 11 PM to 11 AM. Last night, I cantored for the monthly Taize service at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Claremont. Folks said, on departure, See you tomorrow. I went to bed before 11 PM last night -- finally woke up at 10:45 AM today -- exactly when GSLCs traditional servce was beginning. I decided not to rush over in my skivvies!
