This puppy is missing her paw and is blind in her left eye. We got a call last week about a little puppy that wandered onto someones property who is missing her paw and had something wrong with her eyes. She was taken to our vets office, and upon further inspection the vet thinks it was an injury from very early on in her life. She thinks her eye injury could be from blunt force trauma, possibly having it by a car. Despite her challenges, Abigail is the most friendly sweet loving happy puppy ever! She is about five months old, and is a pure bundle of joy. Because of her age and not knowing what she was exposed to she has to be quarantined for two weeks before she can be up for adoption, however we are taking applications now for her. As many of our followers know we have had quite a challenge with animals lately, it is easy to have our spirits Low. But Abigail is a clear reminder to us, that despite any challenges life can still be good. Abigails tail never stops wagging, she likes to bounce and run and jump and play. Shes a typical happy puppy. She does not know she cannot see out of one eye, and is missing a paw she just knows that theres a lot of Life to live and smells to smell.
