This really doesnt solve the problem for police officers who live in the diverse towns they serve. A person MUST be culturally competent to deal with the different population they serve! If not, I dont care where they live, there will always be issues. Next, for towns with officers of the same ethnicity they must have a police chief who doesnt protect dirty cops. Ive heard just as many bad stories in predominantly Black & Latino communities involving Black/Latino cops. It doesnt get reported nationally because theyre the same race. However, many are reported locally. We all live on this planet together and must figure out this race debacle. Its asinine!!!
