This really got me thinking. Who do I trust more to find the right spouse? God, or myself? Id rather be single forever than rush into a relationship that isnt Gods will with a man who cant be a spiritual leader for my family. I wont bounce from one failed relationship to the next in an attempt to find contentment, which can only be satisfied by the Holy Spirit. I will continue to seek God first and have a surrendered heart to Him. I am His beloved and if He decides to give me a spouse, then thats great, but Im not going to put my life on hold. I am content because I have an intimate relationship with The One who is constant and will be by my side for the long haul. It would be foolish for me to say thats not enough.
